Goldfinger (1965)
Featured Song: “Goldfinger” by Shirley Bassey
Runtime: 1 Hour 52 Minutes
Actors: Sean Connery, Honor Blackman
To many, the quintessential Bond film and a brilliant third entry in the series. Here Bond gets his Aston Martin, spars with two statuesque British beauties (Honor Blackman and Shirley Eaton) and pits his wits against a memorable villain, Auric Goldfinger. Add the first Shirley Bassey theme song and some exciting action sequences and the result is an explosive cocktail.

Featured Song: “Live and Let Die” by Paul McCartney
Runtime: 2 Hours 1 Minute
Actors: Roger Moore, Yaphet Kotto, Jane Seymour
Roger Moore makes his first appearance as "Bond...James Bond" in 1973s Live and Let Die. Bond is dispatched to the States to stem the activities of Mr. Big (Yaphet Kotto), who plans to take over the Western Hemisphere by converting everyone into heroin addicts. The woman in the case is Solitaire (Jane Seymour in her movie debut), an enigmatic interpreter of tarot cards. The obligatory destructive-chase sequence occurs at the films midpoint, with Bond being chased in a motorboat by Mr. Bigs henchmen, slashing his way through the marshlands and smashing up a wedding party. Clifton James makes the first of several Bond appearances as redneck sheriff Pepper, while Geoffrey Holder is an enthusiastic secondary villain.

Featured Song: “From Russia with Love” by Matt Monro
Runtime: 1 Hour 55 Minutes
Actors: Sean Connery, Pedro Armendariz, Lotte Lenya, Robert Shaw, Bernard Lee, Daniela Bianchi
Broccoli considered this as one of the best Fleming stories. Connery once again excelled and was well supported by a great cast including Robert Shaw, wonderfully menacing as a brutal killer; and Lotte Lenya as the Russian agent with the famous poison-tipped knife device in her shoe. The film also features many distinctive Bond motifs for the first time and its huge success firmly established the 007 films as a cultural phenomenon.

Featured Song: “A View to A Kill” by Duran Duran
Runtime: 2 Hours 12 Minutes
Actors: Roger Moore, Christopher Walken, Tanya Roberts, Grace Jones, Patrick Macnee, Patrick Bachau, David Yip, Fiona Fullerton
Roger Moore is the enigmatic 007 in this stunt-laden adventure that pits Bond against a twisted German industrialist (Christopher Walken) and his sexy partner-in-crime (Grace Jones).
